A co-worker recently turned my on the the Domino Flickr Pool. After browsing a while i begin to see the world only in vignettes...Everything has a possible paring and potential color scheme! Either way, it's great inspiration.
Everyone knows that nothing's better than a summer afternoon nap. Windows open, cool breeze, beginning sentences with prepositions...the whole sha-bang. Seeing these installations from David Vensson makes me wish for cozy, over sized things to nap on.
and how i love the journal i have by her. It's that design/style you see everywhere and think, "Gee, that reminds me of ______". That's because she IS everywhere and stretches over ART, CRAFT, and DESIGN (which p.s. equals the tri-fecta of love). The end.
This Lunchbox Birdfeeder is handmade (as all of their products are) in NY by Perch! I'm such a sucker for the juxtaposition of tactile differences. The silky, pliable fabric-yness with the smooth, glossy set-in-stone-ness.....yum! You may all think this is way too much thinking about a bird feeder...but this is why i'm crazy. and this in why i love design.
Check out these little guys over at FredFlare.com "Tetran" does do a cute job solving my earbud storage issues....but im not sure if what he lacks in space saving he makes up for in the Cute dept. Either way, i'm happy that someone approched this idea. He's a little bit gagety; little bit rock n' roll. A win/win situation. :)
Always want to buy them. Always want to make them. I love her layering and details. Makes me want to run home and start working those sweet old magazines i have collecting dust.
I've had a crush on this charmer for quite some time. Every time I'm in Rotofugi I have to stalk him out and pretend he's mine for a few minutes. Charm City: Population 1 (well 2 if u count the scooter-- but i kinda think of them as one unit) He's a ltd. edition of 500! Can someone just buy him for me?
Today I'm wooed by the shots and installations from Yeondoo Jung. Such great lighting and colors! I especially like the Wonderland series. How cool would it be to be a production assistant on all of those sets!!! In LOVE.
